More information about the Realme 8 has poured out online. We can be very sure that soon the device will be on our hands. Apart from that, there is evidence that soon, the Realme 8 series will be revealed. The Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro will succeed the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro that was released on September 20 last year.
Some features of Realme 8 have been revealed, but others are still unknown. Before the launch, there have been leaks about the price also. The CEO of the company also shared some images of the device box, and that revealed some of the key specs of the Realme 8.
Realme 8 is shown to be on the incremental side. It will arrive with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, an upgrade from the LCD panel found on the Realme 7. However, no refresh rate has been shown yet. It seems that the 90Hz high refresh rate is gone now, giving way to the Super AMOLED display.
Furthermore, according to the device box’s information, the phone will be powered by the Helio G95 chipset. That means nothing changes here. There will be four cameras, with the main one a 64MP main sensor.
Realme 8 is sleek, slim, and lightweight. In the battery department, the Realme 8 will sport a 5000 mAh battery and 30W fast charging, just as it was in the predecessor.
The operating software will be Android 11 out of the box to run on Realme UI 2.0. it is likely to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Realme 8 series may directly compete with Redmi Note 10 series that was recently launched.
The device was expected in 2020 but was delayed due to some unexplained situations. It will sell in the range of $245 – $275.
