As seen in the above embedded tweet, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro comes with a dual camera set-up on the rear as usual, the LED flash light and the finger print sensor. The cameras are not just of any type of lens, they are LEICA lenses and with a f/1.6 aperture.
Huawei is expected to unveil the Huawei Mate 10 Pro on the 16 of this month (October) in Munich, Germany.
A total of four devices is expected to be unveiled in the “Mate 10” series; the ordinary Huawei Mate 10, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro (pictured above), Huawei Mate 10 Lite (a toned down version) and a Porsche design Huawei Mate 10. The device is expected to rival the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, LG V6, LG V30, and other smartphone Giants.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is expected to come with 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB and 128 GB internal storage variants and expected to sell for about $750 when launched. There is also information gearing towards an 8 GB RAM and 256 GB version of the Huawei Mate 10. The 8 GB version price has been speculated to be in the region of $1,135, about the same price as the iPhone X.
Devices in the Mate 10 series (the Huawei Mate 10 Pro inclusive) will be the pioneering devices of Huawei’s new AI-powered Hisilicon Kirin 970 chipset and will also come out of the box with the new and latest Android v8.0 Oreo OS.
The Huawei Mate 10 and it’s siblings are about to take up the “Smartphone of the Year” mantle. We’ll decide that on October 16 when the device launches.
