Imose GiDi Specs Review, Price and Where to buy

Over the last couple of months, Imose have been quite busy in the design room and factory – creating new pieces of course. And to the best of my knowledge, the OEM is trying so hard to sell itself (and its products) as unique brand through the one-of-a-kind features of her devices.

About one-of-a-kind, think the beauty Imose Kampe, the rugged feature phone with a massive 10,000 mAh battery capacity that doubles as a power bank. Also, the Imose Ankara S3, and the astonishing design and aesthetic of the Imose Bam.

The Imose Gidi is yet another device that follows slightly in the theme of the Imose Kampe as it is also battery-themed. Let’s have a peek.

Imose Gidi

The overall design of the Imose Gidi isn’t one that gives smartphone users (like myself) that really care much about the appearance of a device Goosebumps. The device comes with a boring, yet basic, design but very bulky. I really can’t think of holding a device as thick as 9.7mm as I am much of a slim smartphone lover. However, the thickness is the price users have to pay for the big battery that comes with the device.

The screen is a 5.0 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.

Being a low-end device, the Imose Gidi uses a MediaTek MT6580 System-on-Chip and runs a Quad-core 1.2 GHz processor. Per storage, the Imose Gidi sports 1 GB RAM and a built-in 8GB of internal storage. There is room for expansion to 32 GB via the Micro SD card slot.

On the Imose Gidi, you will enjoy the stock Android experience of the Android v6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

The optics of the device are also just basic – not bad, but also not “super good”. The primary shooter is an 8 Megapixels lens which is assisted by a LED flash light while the secondary camera is a meagre 2 Megapixels sensor for capturing selfies.

Like every other smartphone out there, the Imose Gidi also has its selling point – which is the battery. The device comes with a colossal 4,500 mAh battery which Imose says can give a usage time of up to 7 days, given the low power consumption nature of the device. This puts the Imose Gidi in the same realm as the Infinix Note 4 Pro. Impressive uhn?

Originally, the Imose Gidi costs only N24,500 but there currently is a deal on Konga where you get an additional device (Imose M3S) as a bonus for purchasing the Imose Gidi at the same price.
