Cyberpunk 2077 will be Back and Better – CD Projekt Red

Cyberpunk 2077 has been a huge disgrace for CD Projekt Red. It had an unsavory launch, it was unplayable on gaming consoles, it was riddled with bugs, and even missing key features. The worst of it, the game was removed from the PlayStation Store by Sony.

It appears that the creators of Cyberpunk 2077 are not going to give up on failure. An online report also said that all those who wished they were able to enjoy the game should look to the future of the game. It is better because the game will bounce back and be a lot better.

However, that future may be an exciting one that is also going to be a long way off. CD Projekt Red had promised that Cyberpunk 2077 will be receiving free DLC in the early parts of 2021. Since the developer is fixing more serious issues than that, we believe that the free DLC will come later on. It may still be in 2021. Note that Sony had told buyers at the end of last year that there will be significant patches coming to the game as early as January and February this year. That may not be possible at this time.

Other challenges that are to be surmounted are still there and CD Projekt Red is still trying to figure out the best way to solve the issues. One of them is the multiplayer mode. This may come in a separate AAA release. This means a game like Night City will be more interesting when played with friends.

The company is not releasing any date yet, as regards the release of the game. It would be nice not to keep fans waiting, only to have their hopes dashed as it were in 2021. For now, CD Projekt Red wants to keep focusing on what is really important- fixing the game and adding content that may be broken or missing. It could be up to 2023 before the company is ready to push out Cyberpunk 2077 again.
